From Iowa:
“Heya,
My hacker space is now offering classes in a bunch of different things: electronics, soldering, circuitry, gameboy programming, video basics, and arduino/microcontroller programming.
I’m going to be teaching the class on Arduino (arduino.cc) programming which will teach you how to write code that lets you read sensors: measure the temperature, the light in the room, sound, position of a slider, button presses, etc. It will also cover doing things: blinking LEDs, fading LEDs, making sound, controlling lots of LEDs, and maybe we’ll even get into motor controls.
If you’d rather spend your spring days inside, learning how to play with electronics, instead of being outside, you can sign up here: http://www.eventbrite.com/org/52408308?s=1”
