So true, SO SHITTY. The Art world specifically has only RECENTLY (past 20 years or so) shown an influx in recognition of women artists up on the same playing field as men. Think I’m outta line in saying this? It’s more apparent than you realize. Jerry Saltz wrote a great article about it when critiquing the MOMA’s opening show in it’s new building. Check it out!
